During law school, he worked for the Sonoma County Council on Aging as a paralegal while also opening his first business, Honeymoon Frozen Yogurt in Sebastopol, which he eventually sold. He became an attorney in 2009 and developed a thriving law practice in Santa Rosa. Robert later discovered a passion for real estate, so in 2015 he also became a real estate broker, which is now his primary occupation. Robert recently moved his family back to Sebastopol so his young children could attend Sebastopol Charter.
