Jeanna Collet, Community Engagement and Development Manager

My name is Jeanna (pronounced Jenna) and my husband and I are parents to a second grader and fourth grader. I have really enjoyed volunteering at our school over the past few years, to witness the love and dedication that teachers put into crafting lessons. I am grateful for the many dear friends I have made while working and volunteering at the school. To share this season of life with such fellow committed parents is a real treasure.

In addition to volunteering at our school, this past year I took a position as the 2nd grade assistant teacher, and also supported as a crossing guard and Kindergarten aftercare assistant. I have cherished each moment with the children and those whom I have worked closely with. My level of appreciation for our faculty reached new depths this year and I believe that will continue onwards. The school office brims with kindness and productivity. The teachers consistently blow me away with how much they give and tend and create with the children.

I am excited for what our future holds and all of the ways that we, as parents, can support it. Much of this role will be in pursuit of funding needed for our robust curriculum, available programs, and infrastructure improvements. I am joyfully looking forward to meeting and collaborating with parents on ways to engage in stewardship of the land, connecting  through PLAY, and making space to nourish connection.
